degree at the City University of New York – Queens College (Cum Laude). My APA-approved clinical psychology internship was completed at LIJ-Hillside Medical Center in New York
City where I worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings. As part of my internship rotation, I worked in the Adolescent Day Program at Queens General Hospital. Upon completing my training, I worked in clinical research while also seeing patients in my
private practice, along with being the Director of Men’s Services at Wilkins Center for Eating Disorders. I am the author or co-author of over 30 peer-reviewed articles and book reviews published in medical journals on such topics as schizophrenia, movement disorders in psychiatric patients, brain-behavior correlates of behavior, EEG research, depression, CBT strategies in eating disorders, and predictors of relapse in previously hospitalized
psychiatric patients.
